Idaho Wild Sheep Foundation Rifle Raffle!

Only 500 raffle tickets will be sold for this custom authentic Pre-64 Winchester Model 70, and built by Idaho Chapter Board member and master craftsman, Edd Woslum (Evolution USA, Whitebird, Idaho). Future raffle rifles will represent each of the species of North American wild sheep.

Raffle Details

  • Drawing will be held at the February, 2012, Idaho WSF Chapter banquet.
  • Participants must be at last 18 years of age and meet all legal requirements for gun ownership.
  • Void where prohibited.
  • Proceeds will be used for the benefit and enhancement of bighorn sheep in Idaho.

Only 500 tickets are available for sale - $20 for 1 and $100 for 6.  
First come, first served. 

Drawing will be at the annual banquet on February, 2012.

Idaho 2012 Bighorn Sheep Raffle Tickets

Every year the Idaho Department of Fish and Game raffles off one tag for a bighorn sheep in Idaho.

Winner will be able to hunt in any unit open to sheep hunting for Rocky Mountain or California bighorn in 2012, pursuant to Fish & Game regulations including Unit 11, Hells Canyon of the Snake River.

Conservation Friends from Opposite Sides of the World Work to “Put Sheep on the Mountain”

In the above photo Lacy Robinson shows Croc Adams and Peter Byrom radio collared bighorn sheep movements along the Main Salmon River upstream from Riggins, Idaho. These 3 friends were drawn together from opposite sides of the world by their dedication to wildlife conservation. Lacy is the Nez Perce tribe’s biologist studying Rocky mountain bighorn sheep on Idaho’s Salmon River. Lacy’s research continues the Nez Perce tribe’s over 10,000 years of history intertwined with bighorn sheep. She is identifying which habitats bighorns use, where they move to, and potential for fatal mixing with domestic sheep. The data she is gathering is essential to Forest Service, BLM, and Fish and Game protection of existing bighorn populations and tribal-TWSF efforts for them to reoccupy historic habitats.
