Idaho Wild Sheep

Annual Banquet

Dear IDWSF Members, Sponsors, and Donors,

Due to the current outbreak of Coronavirus the Idaho Wild Sheep Foundation has made the tough decision to reschedule our Fundraiser to June 13, 2020.  This decision was not taken lightly and our plan of holding an Epic Banquet & Fundraiser is still in place.  Our main concern is for the safety of our Membership, Sponsors, Donors and Volunteers.

This morning Brad Little, Governor of Idaho, addressed the State regarding the outbreak of Coronavirus. At this time Idaho doesn’t currently have any active cases, but his medical staff stated that it is inevitable that someone in the near future will test positive based on what is being seen around the world. Idaho has filed a State of Emergency so that our State agencies can have quicker access to personal protective equipment, test kits, and facilities when Idaho begins to deal with active cases. The recommendation was made that groups larger than 250 be postponed.

Our event was very close to being at capacity and your registration and payment will automatically be moved to the June 13, 2020 date to save your reservation.  We fully understand that this delay may create a conflict for those that planned to attend and we will provide a full refund to any that are not able to make our event or, your payment can be moved to a tax deductible donation to Idaho Wild Sheep.  Our Board and Staff will work diligently to respond to any questions and emails as they come in, but please understand as a 100% volunteer group there may be a slight delay in response as we work through the anticipated volume of inquiries and refund requests.

If you had a hotel room booked at The Hampton Inn under our room block, you have already been moved to June 13th.  If you need to cancel your room, please contact The Hampton Inn direct at 208-331-1900.  If you booked elsewhere, please call them direct to move or cancel.

Rest assured that we remain fully committed to hosting this event on June 13, 2020.  Lastly, as we all have a responsibility as citizens to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus, the Governor has recommended that each of us follow the CDC Guidelines closely to keep your families, community, and colleagues safe.

Best Regards,

Idaho Wild Sheep Foundation Board of Directors

2020 Annual Banquet

June 13, 2020
Doors open at 3 p.m.
Our History

The Idaho Wild Sheep was founded in 1982 by two dozen concerned sportsmen who wanted to “put more bighorns on Idaho’s mountains.”

From that core group, many of which are still very active on our board and committees, we have grown to a thriving organization with over 400 committed members.

The Duke

Don’t miss the Idaho Wild Sheep Foundation 35th Annual banquet for the release of the “The Duke”. This is a special video brought to you by the Idaho Wild Sheep Foundation, KRYPTEK and Silver Line Films.

Get to see the exciting footage capturing a hunt with 2019 Idaho Fish and Game auction tag hunter Doug Sayer and the 2019 Idaho Fish and Game controlled hunt tag hunter Travis Jessop hunting together with Sheep Mountain Outfitters in Idaho’s Unit 11.

On this hunt, Doug was able to harvest the “Duke” Idaho’s pending Rocky Mountain Bighorn ram state record and Travis harvests another exceptional record book ram.
